Choosing the right paper towel can make a difference. Only use untreated varieties. Extra-absorbent towels can leave behind a film.
Treat your cloths right
Don’t add fabric softener to your load of towels – it could leave a film on glass surfaces and interfere with the sparkle.
Choose lint-free
Microfiber or other lint-free towels won’t leave behind little specks on glass surfaces. Newspaper or old, clean cotton nappies are other great options.
Beat the heat
Hot surfaces can make the product evaporate before you get a chance to wipe. Avoid cleaning windows on hot, sunny days and make sure surfaces like glass stove tops are completely cool before cleaning with Windex® Original Glass Cleaner.
Pace yourself
To avoid drips and evaporation, spray Windex® Original Glass Cleaner on large windows in sections, wiping away the cleaning solution before moving on to the next portion.
